Practical examples of PrintoLUX® benefits in terms ofefficiency and cost.
Customer 1:
In the commissioning process it is necessary for the company to replace ca. 10 – 15% of signage due to loss, damage, new content etc. In the past, a list of required replacement signage was compiled and sent to the supplier for manufacturing. The replacements were delivered 2 to 3 days later at the earliest. With the mobile PrintoLUX®-Basic technicians are now able to print signage in-house and make any necessary replacements without delay.
Customer 2:
The company is a leading player in the signage industry and is among other things responsible for machine labelling in three RWE power stations. In the normal course of maintenance, servicing and repair around 50,000 new machine labels, markers and signs per year are necessary in each power station. The signage is manufactured using two PrintoLUX®-FB-3-Systems. RWE has been so satisfied with the quality of the supplied signage that an enterprise wide standardization in favour of the PrintoLUX®-process has been included in the planning process. Compared to the previously utilised engraving process, the customer has identified the following advantages of the PrintoLUX®-System: Aluminium labels printed using the PrintoLUX®-process are extremely durable and require only one printing run for the application of colours. Handling is simple, effective and low-cost.
Customer 3:
A machinery and systems manufacturer had been using a pad printing process forthe in-house production of type plates. Exposure to oil and heat permanently caused considerable wear and tear on the plates, resulting in premature deterioration and reduced legibility. Thus, the company was seeking an alternative solutionand found it in the PrintoLUX® FB-3, whereby these deficiencies could be corrected. Thanks to the outstanding durability of the print, the company has been able to save all of the costs of removing, replacing and reinstalling the plates.
