Process comparison

Tampo printing

With this process, formers can also be printed (however, very small quantities are not economical). Thanks to the option of printing single and multiple colours, tampo printing is used for large quantities and identical contents in the advertising media industry. Weaknesses: lack of resistance (particularly chemical resistance) and durability. Moreover, the largest motifs that can be printed have a diameter of approx. 30 cm. Another factor is that the design options available with this process hardly meet today's requirements.

PrintoLUX®

In comparison with tampo printing, PrintoLUX® scores particularly on account of the high degree of resistance and durability of its print and materials. Other advantages are the varieties of applications and designs thanks to defined colour tones in conjunction with the PrintoLUX® colour profile and photorealistic reproduction, easy integration in production sequences as well as the resulting potential cost reductions.
